What can't they eat???!?!?!?

Wow, this thread is old, but since grapes for dogs was mentioned, I will chime in. Grapes hold onto fungal spores that is very harmful for dogs. I used to give my dog grapes all the time before I knew better. The dog did end up with immune deficiency and idiopathic thrombocytopenia. Not saying that grapes caused it but it started with hair falling out and random bleeding. He would eat a bunch of grapes every coulpe of weeks. My fault.
I knew someone who fed their puppy grapes and afterwards they died. I definitely wouldn’t take the risk. :)

Can't remember what's in it but don't feed alot of cat food..a can now & then for protein is ok. Garlic, Onions, and anything strong flavored will taint the taste of ur eggs just like breast milk. Green potatoe peelings will poison any animal.
Canned cat food that has Ash in it is not good.

This is an old, old thread. But I sure wish I knew what this poster meant by "Heinz anemia." Anyone? 🤔
I googled and found this: https://chickendvm.com/poisonous/onion

then https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heinz_body

The wiki article says that the anemia can occur in dogs, cats, and other mammals. But here's a reference to poultry: https://www.exoticpetvet.net/avian/onions.html

The last does say that it's worse if the onions are grown in high-sulfur soil. The hemolytic anemia can reverse if the toxic substance is removed.

I may be in the minority but I'm convinced that chickens won't eat what's bad for them (of natural substances; I can't explain styrofoam and hardware) unless there is nithing else available. If they did they'd be extinct. My chicken run is full of lilies and daffodils and all they do with those is cultivate and fertilize them. And I keep wondering, who feeds chickens avocado seeds? And how big is the chicken that eats them? 🤷‍♀️
