What causes tiny eggs?

I just collected my eggs and found a really tiny egg, not much bigger than a dime. It looks perfect except for the size. What causes this. I know it is from one of my welsummers because it is dark. Would it be from one of my hens that hatched babies 3 months ago?I feed my hens lay pellets, and they also free range for part of the day. I also offer oyster shells. Is there a yolk in these type eggs? Going to blow out the insides so I can keep the egg. Soo cute.

Sometimes they don't fully develop.

I dont know what causes them but I believe that they are known as ''fart eggs''.
