In my experience individuals within many breeds lay speckled eggs, but no particular breed where all of the hens lay speckled eggs. Anybody know of one from anywhere?

I can't say...I ordered two Cuckoo Marans from McMurray - they lay a pretty dark (not chocolate colored) egg and they always have dark specks and spots. Can't say for all CMs - just the two I have.

Oh thanks red socks I'm ordering a cuckoo maran and I knew it was supose to lay a dark brown egg but I hope it will lay speckled eggs
