Hi! I'm new here. My fiance, daughter, and I bought 6 chickens last year ( 3 RSL and a Wyandotte from TSC and 2 EE from private farm). This year we decided to expand our flock with more from TSC. They had all the pullets in one broader (Supposedly Leghorn, Red easter eggers, and Welbar chicks) We decided on 2 Welbar, 2 EE, and one leghorn.. but 2 look like Welbar colors but blue legs, and 2 look EXACTLY like the R Sex Links we got last year.. (the leghorn is the only one we're sure of.) HELP!

UPDATE! Found out the hatchery name and asked them. They said the ones with welsummer colorings are olive eggers (welsummer mixes), the reds are a "starlight blue", and, the leghorn is a purebred... So, ANSWERS HAVE BEEN FOUND!

They have them new at TSC this year (yes, in the US) a cream legbar and welsummer mix I think... They're putting out a lot of new hybrids.
Welbars aren't a hybrid they're a British breed developed in the 1940s... I knew they were imported, but didn't know any hatcheries stocked them

Hmm maybe so! But you’d think that they’d have given it a Google before naming a different hybrid that!
Haha, you'd think... But the kids (teens) there know basically nothing about chickens. They get chicks, put them in brooders with feed and water, and put them in boxes when people want to buy them..
