What color is my silkie roo?

From his poof to where his shoulders would be is a light whiteish gray and then his back is a whole nother color. I don't have recent pictures but in these pics is about the same he is just gotten darkern on his back. He is this color all the way to his toes. When people ask me his color I say GREY PARTIDGE? But I know that isn't right.

Another question what color would I breed him to to try and bring this color out even more I'd love to have a silkie colored this way all over. The only girls I have are buff, white, black and grey.

Well looking at the pics myself he is alot dark now on his back its like red with black stripes.

Hey Teresa, he is a Calico (not a standard color), but is defined as three or more colors with some non-pattern splashing or spotting. I think he is from one of my gray hens and a Calico rooster.
