The guy at the swap meet told me it was buff, but I don't think it is...

Looks grey to me, but that could be the photo. If you see reds and browns it is partridge; if it is all shades of grey, black & white, with little to no red it is grey.

Grey and partridge are the same pattern. Grey is silver gene; partridge is gold gene.

I would say it has some shades of brown in it...

Does anyone has a picture of what either color look like when not a baby chick but a little older??
