What color is this keet?

I just brought home 6 two week old keets: 4 Pearl, 1 Blue or Lavender and this one in the middle.




What color do you think it is. None of the other chicks in the brooder looked like it.

My guess is that it is a pied Royal Purple. It has too much white to not be a pied or pinto. The developing dark color on the wings looks the wrong color for a chocolate but does look correct for a Royal Purple. The squiggly lines on its head indicate that it will be semi dotted. I believe it will be a very pretty guinea as an adult.

Your blue keet appears to be a Lavender.

Its weird because the pied colouring is not solid. Keep us updated as it grows.
