What color are these silkie chicks? I thought splash as they are very light but now I see the chipmunk stripe. Gray?

I would love to know as well! I recently acquired a few silkies with the same colouring and pattern. One chick almost looks like dalmation spotted dog. LOL

sorry maybe a partridge color, I've only seen solid color young silkie chicks

Those look like partridge silkie chicks to me. But could also be a mix of buff and partridge.

Yes a silkie that is light yellow with random black spots is likely a paint.
