I've started building aa new coop and I think it needs some color. I don't have pictures yet but I'll post some if they're asked for but I'm going to describe it. It kind of looks like a rabbitt cage made of wood so far and there are lots of plants around it. The light green is the color of green tea icecream and the medium green is the color of most leaves.

I voted medium green . I just bought " frosted pine" 2-1 paint from Glidden for my coop in the making. When in doubt just use your favorite sports team colors.

My son is building a chicken tractor and you know who gets to paint it. Me..."Mom". Now the color of choice automatically goes to green, a deep green. It'll soak up the sun when it arrives. The coop is built in such a way that it'll be soooo easy to clean. Just open the panel and rake the poop out. The bottom has screen meshing soooo it'll fertilize as I move it with the quad. Oh ya...I obviously go with the deep green. My go-to color.
