What color would you produce with a Blue orpington roo over a red orpington hen?

Thinking about crossing my blue orpington roo with red orp hens but was wondering if it would produce attractive birds or just some sort of muddled mess of a color. Any thoughts from you chicken wizards out there?

Purple Orpingtons of course. No from what I can see it looks like the offspring would be black and blue. Could be some leakage of colors.

No, there are actually red orpingtons. Not too common in the U.S., more so in U.K. They are dark red like RIR but with physical characteristics of orps. Very pretty. Like a RIR with mall hair ;-)

Almost had my city kid hubby convinced they would be purple;-) anything to justify more chickens!
