Not always. I have plenty of mixes that are bantam mom and standard dad. Only one i ever had problems with was a Japanese hen that had her tail hurt. Cochin here are always covered by a large fowl male with no issuesYes. Maybe look on Facebook or Instagram to look for a rooster near you. I’ve had people take some of my previous roosters before.Thanks, I'm new to chickens and didn't know that know that, luckily she's only been out with her new flock for a few days so I don't think any damage has been done. Will put her in a separate pen and keep my eye out for a smaller rooster![]()
