Hello!
Most of my chickens have red around there face and I wondered would this be a side sign of mites or something else? I have only had them a month and a half.

No sorry i don't have a picture. I just got them a month and a half ago and haven't been able to take a good picture of them because i have to keep them inside due to the weather. its just on the face and some hens have more red then others but its not the whole face just patches.

In fact the redder a chickens cheeks, waddles, and comb is or the more these parts look like a plump ripe strawberry, the healthier your chickens are and the more eggs they will produce.
Any time you find bug bites on the naked parts a hen or rooster's head and face the culprit is almost always mosquitoes. Good luck.

Okay thanks! I'm new to keeping chickens so I wanted to make sure that they weren't going to die on me! :)
