My hen, Ms.Red, her eggs have been showing this white coating and a little bit of a rough eggshell surface. It's been going on for almost a week now. Should I be concerned?

It may be excess calcium but it really looks like that bird was dehydrated.
Rough texture on the fat end of the egg is a sign of dehydration.

Huh, never heard that one before.
Figured just a shelling glitch.

Probably not white coating but lack of brown coating....bird may have been stressed during egg processing that day, unless it happens constantly.
