what day do i start counting?

This set of eggs I placed in the incubator at 6am on the second of July so do I count the second as day one since I started early in the morning or do I not count like normal till the third of July as my first day?

At 6:00am on July third, that is day one. My first hatch I set the eggs at 8:30pm. 21 days later, I had the first one hatch at 8:45pm. That's as close to 21 days as you could get.

I always take the date and add 21 to it so if it was the 2nd then I would set my hatch date as the 23rd. My last turn would be on the 19th or 20th depending on the eggs. If I am noticing eggs rocking then I would stop turning(well tilting my bator) on the 19th.
