the comb or the wattle?

I noticed the comb on my girls before I noticed the wattles. However once the comb starts going the wattles are not far behind.

the reason i asked was beacause 1 of my chickens is a boy, he is getting wattles!

Some hens do show more wattles than others.

In my experience, the combs tend to grow taller before the wattles start getting floppy!! LOL for the most part they all grow diffrent.
