What did this come from?

I have buff orp's and doms in together. I get speckled eggs sometimes but not sure from which? I believe the specks are just dried blood spots because they come off if you scrub them.

I used to have a chicken that laid eggs almost exactly like that. Although it's hard to tell from your pic. It almost looks like it has a green-ish tint? My hen was a mutt from a neighbor, half buff orp. half who-knows-what. She definitely had some Ameraucana blood in there somewhere, because she had a big beard and the eggs were very slightly olive-brown, with brown speckles. I loved that chicken.
