What did you buy at the OHIO NATIONAL this weekend???

I am very pleased with my purchases. I actually went with an "I'm not buying ANYTHING this time around, only selling" idea in my head, and am very pleased with my new acquisitions. I especially was going to be holding a hard line with not buying any more drakes and I still went home with two! They just looked too good to pass up. I am now offically done being a sucker for cute drakes for this year, however!

Pullet was a private sale that I have mulled over for months and I jumped off the shelf finally. I do expect to be bringing her progeny to shows, that is what she was purchased for, to help develop a variety I am working on.

I say the same thing, each time I've gone. I too came home with more, d'Uccles that is.

Well, we have one pullet sick now. Started them on antibiotics today. Too much stress, and then the cold weather on top, I reckon.

What did you buy? Did you go to the BYC meeting. I think there were two of them. One by the statue and one in the cafeteria. There were 4 of us outside.

Bought one white crested black polish bantam male, and already have him breeding, and eggs in the incubator!

My light brown leghorn pullets are all better now and laying. DW (Darkwing) the duck is fine, too. Going to be looking for some duck friends for him in the spring.
