What do I do when it gets down to 20* Fahrenheit at night?

Hey so I have some 8 month old chickens: 2 buff Orpington, 1 Plymouth Rock, 1 Easter egger, and 1 Ameraucauna. It is supposed to get down to 20* Fahrenheit at night soon and I was wondering what to do to make sure they won’t be too cold. Thanks!

Just make sure they're dry and out of the wind. I live where it gets -20F some days, even colder at night and we don't lose birds to the cold

As mentioned, it's all about keeping them dry and out of drafts. It's okay to have leakage around windows and doors as long as it doesn't create a draft that's strong enough to open feathers. The more ventilation, the better. Keeping open waterers out of the coop is also a good idea as is removing the nightly poop load and not overcrowding your coop.

Before you go outside put on a down coat. They are already wearing a down coat so just give them a dry place out of a direct breeze. They can handle the rest.
