What do I feed chicks with a broody hen?

I am feeding them chick starter, which momma eats too. I am assuming thats OK, but I know the other hens will eat a little bit of it too. If it has a coccidiostat in it, will that make my eggs bad?

If you want to make the chick starter available to the chicks only, make a small guard, say 18" x 18" and 8" tall to put around a feeder. Make it out of slats and space the slats 2-1/2" apart. The chicks can get in but the hens cannot.

If the medication is amprol or amprolium, it will not have an effect on the eggs. The coccidiostat should be amprolium and not a sulfa drug, but check the bag.
