What do I feed the mother hen while she's raising her babies?

If I've only got one mom and her babies, what should I feed them? I think the mom currently eats layer crumbles, but from what I can gather, layer rations aren't good to feed to young birds. They need starter/grower or something along those lines. So do I switch the mom to starter/grower? These will be my first chickens and I don't have any feed yet. I just want to get the right stuff so mom and her brood are healthy and happy.

They can all eat starter/grower while she's raising the chicks.

Just feed the mother, what your feeding the babies chick starter and grower wont hurt her

I feed mine Flock Raiser crumbles with a some chick grit thrown in and they did just fine.
