DH is considering a job out of state. It all depends on finding property to rent/rent to own that will allow us to keep most of our birds. I have waaaaay too much time and money into my flock to lose them all.

I've been searching with "farm for rent SW PA", and that just isn't cutting it. Any ideas? It's probably so obvious

I guess it will depend on where you are... here we found this place by first narrowing down the region where we wanted to live

then i googled for the local news papers, the farm pages if you will and then found this place.

there was also ads on the feed store board ect

Well- the landsofPA one is cool- but there isn't anything to rent. Some lovely farms though! It would be soooo nice to find a place with a big barn! It's totally not a definite thing- but I've been daydreaming about it so.....

Going to try CL & the newspapers

you could call a real estate agent. this might be a good option even though you are not commited to purchasing, some handle mostly rents.
(at least in my area)

Near Washington, PA. Apparently there is no CL anywhere near there- lots of people have requested it. It's between Morganstown WV and Pittsburgh. ( I've always liked Pittsburgh

Still have to try the newspaper classifieds......

We don't even know if this "potential" job is permanent or temporary- that's why I'm looking for a rental.
