Looks like a Barred Rock, but it is cockerel, not a pullet. I think cockerel because its comb is large, the stance is gangly, and its coloring is light (female barred rocks are usually dark, but males are light).
Coloring looks like my cuckoo marans pullet, but mine has pink legs. I'm a relative newbie - have not had a barred rock yet. If it was sold to you as a BR, I'll jump on the roo bandwagon. Otherwise I'd wait and see.
My son bought it with money from his granny from a man when he went to a market. The man said he was a pullet and my son never asked what breed (he is nine). He brought it home and it was really sweet. I had told him he could get a girl when he called. I have 5 production red pullets so I did not mind getting some variety.
