I can't have chickens where I live but they're with me until monday then they go to their permanent home (Unless something changes or a I get special permissions to have hens where I live.)
Anyways they're in a flat bottom metal dog kennel until monday and I've gave them food and water and a clean branch for them to roost on, Is that roost necessary?
And while I have them is there anything special to do for them?
Besides make sure they're clean and what not.
