I have 3 different hatches in incubator.
1st hatch is due to hatch 22 Aug. 6 eggs. Swedish hens
2nd hatch is due to hatch 27 Aug 10 eggs Delaware
3rd hatch is due to hatch 30 August. 10 eggs Basque
The incubator is a DIckey.
What I need to know is this please.
Can I put the SwH eggs in another incubator Little Giant as they are suppose to be moved today to the hatching tray being that the others are not due out till next week and the humidity is at 55 for the ones still developing or do I just move the Sw Hens to the little giant. And then the Delawares on their move day till the Basque get to use the Dickey to hatch out.
My husband didn't get the eggs all at one time to make the hatching easier for me and I sure don't want to lose his chicks doing something wrong in the 3 days before they hatch.
He does have a Little Giant incubator but the humidity is always a problem to maintain correctly.
What do others do when they have different hatching dates in same incubator?
