Any idea on what type of chick we have here? It was labeled as a bantam. But it doesn’t look anything like the other ones we have.

Brahmas have feathered legs, and OPs is clean legged, so not a Brahma. :)
Huh, yep, mine have feathered legs. Bantam and Brahma just sounded close enough I figured maybe it was a misremembered sign. I learn something new all the time here.

We're all learning!
Also, bantams are just a size, not a breed. Bantams are quite small!

Funny story, she was in the pin with furry feet chicks. These are who she was with

I believe she's a Columbian Wyandotte!
But could you get a comb picture? A bit hard to tell what comb she has from that angle, but it looks like a rose one I think, which Wyandottes have.

So, I was at Tractor Supply today. They had a sign on a chick tank. Literally said

“Bantam
Straight Run
Mixed Breed”

Wish I’d have taken a picture.

Guess that’s kinda what I was getting at when I thought the OP may have mixed up bantam and Brahma.

So, for my own edification, we’ve landed on a Bantam Columbia Wyandotte due to the sign, the coloring, the un-feathered legs, and the rose comb?

I understand that ultimately it could be anything. The big feed stores aren’t great with identification and what not. But that’s the general idea?
