I went to the feedstore and they had an assortment of chicks so i decided to get some and build a new brooder what do ya think?

Your images weren't showing up so I fixed it for you. You had too many image tags on there.

OMG -- look at all those little peepers. And you know that two or three of those little guys will be bound and determined to get themselves stuck between the cardboard and the wire, even if it means slicing off their own necks or freezing to pieces...

I like the wire and hardware cloth arrangement. I understand the need for the cardboard, but I bet at least one will get stuck.
