Take your best shot! I can't tell y'all how old they are for certain, before they were shipped, I thought I was getting 6 and 8 week olds. I got them day before Thanksgiving... Thanks for looking!

1. Splash or Paint chick

2. Blue chick

3. Brown Red (?) chick

4. Blue Red chick (tufted)

5. Blue Gold chick (clean faced)

I agree with Gray Farms.
#3 is almost definitely a cockerel. He has the red coloration that roosters often get. #4 looks like he is getting an uneven quilting pattern on his chest. If he were a pullet, he would have a more evenly patterned chest.

Oh man! I was sure hoping the white one (#1) was a pullet

..... Thank you for looking! ..... from early on, I thought the black/red one (#3) was a cock - I was hoping the tufted (#4) would be a cock, that's great news!

I have some black breasted red pullets coming in the spring, then I can divvy up a breeding plan.... thanks again!

2 and 5 are pullets. The rest are definitely boys. #3 would be the one to keep, if you want to start a line of Black Breasted Red colored birds. #1 is a leaky Splash, so not a good candidate for breeding. And #4 has an incorrectly colored chest for Black Breasted Red, so he's a cull for that sort of project, too.

Thanks for the input.... The breeder had a red pyle roo and either a gold duckwing, or more likely, a bbr roo in with the hens. If I can get some pullets, I'll try some test hatches.
