I think they need quarantining and introducing a lone chick is likely to be hard going. Apart from the above I like them.

of course! i already thought of that, and im getting more than 1 chick, im just only getting one of that breed! i was just asking what people thought of the breed, thanks tho

They're pretty. But D'uccles seem to be a hit or miss for males when it comes to temperment

I LOVED my porcelain d’Uccles pullets. They were sweet, held their own in my large fowl run and coop, and visited me every day. They both died two months ago to roundworms and I was devastated You will love them!
