What do yo keep your chickens for? Eggs, pets or meat?

What do you keep your chickens for we keep ours for pets but enjoy the eggs when ours are past laying age we will still keep them!

Most are a mix of hatching eggs, eating eggs and ornamental. Extra males and females are meat

Eggs and poop! My compost is so much better since I got chickens.

Meat as well. Extra boys and girls get culled for meat. My main uses will be eggs, chicks and ornaments/pets. But yeah if chicks dont sell I'll freezer them when they old enough.

Pets and eggs, for me. And if I hatched too many roosters I make chicken soup.
But I still love my flock dearly.
