I have a cabinet incubator I haven't used in a while. It is a little dusty and I found some egg shells in it still.

I know, I know, should have cleaned it before storing it. Anyway, what do you guys recommend to clean it with? Thanks in advance..

I take a swiffer duster to mine then spray it down with that clorox anywhere spray. Then let it sit for a little bit then wipe it out. I line my hatcher tray with newspaper and a sheet of that rubber shelf liner so it's easy to clean.

I use a diluted bleach solution. Basically the same thing as oxine and I'll use oxine if I'm out of bleach. They are the only products proven to kill bacteria. Just make sure to rinse well and if possible, sun drying is best.

I use bleach, rinse, let dry, then use Microban hospital wash(iodine), then rinse, then scrub with dishliquid/water to get rid of any residue. I may be a little hardcore when it come to that kinda thing!?

I use Brinsea Incubation Disinfectant. I also use peroxide, as that kills everything, and doesnt have any fumes. Ive heard using a bleach solution on styrafoam incubators causes fumes in the styrafoam that could possibly kill the chicks

I am cleaning a wood cabinet 300 egg incubator so the diluted bleach should work good.
