I currently have DuMOR Chick starter/grower for chicks, ducks, turkeys etc. I don't have ducks as of now, but I'm thinking of getting rid of what I have now and getting some other type a feed.

I've seen Purina Duck Chow, gamebird feed etc.

Needing a little help with what to feed my ducklings. I am getting Muscovies if that helps.

What certain things do you feed your ducks?

I've heard you can feed eggs to your ducks and it helps shine their coats. Does anyone here do this?

What veggies do you feed them?

What CANT ducks have?

I always feed Flock raiser for all age groups of my birds. The only thing I for sure know your suppose to avoid is Spinach because it robs their bones of nutrients

Thanks Kevin! I'll look into Flock raiser.
Are there certain things duck food should have that I should look for in food?

Thanks for the Spinach info.
I really want to watch what I feed the ducks, so as they don't eat anything they really shouldn't.
Luckily, my family really isn't big on Spinach lol.

No Problem at all. The main thing for ducklings is watch those proteins levels. Too much can lead to angel wings and you don't want to be bothered with that. You might look to see if there are foods that already have a bit of Niacin them so you don't have to supplement
If you use Flock Raiser with older ducklings do you still need to add Niacin?
I don't. Once they hit 3 months they are usually free ranging in addition to feed so I stop adding it

Alright, I'll look for Niacin in foods when I look at different brands.
For Muscovies, does it matter if they are on gamebird or not?

How do you add Niacin to their feed? Brewer's yeast...?
