I am planing on breeding both sebastopol geese and grey dewlap toulouse geese next year, and I was wondering what you feed your birds during the breeding season and the off season?

I am wanting to know what brands of feed you use, what other suplementry feeds you mix in, and any thing elce you feed your birds during the breeding/non-breeding season

Aslo when do you sepirate your birds in thier pens for breeding?

Thanks

thanks Celtic!, if you could not tell already I am trying to get every thing figured out before next years breeding season.

Thanks for the concise and helpful info, Celtic! I hope this doesn't make me sound like a moron, but the sunflower seeds you list for the chickens are shelled, right? Do they come from the feed store? I have a big bag of sunflower seeds, but I was going to sprout them. They seem really big with the shells on.

OneAcre, nope they are listed as BOSS (black oil sunflower seeds) full black shells still on. Most all the waterfowl like them, not everyone will eat the oats around here though. Hope this helps.
