What do you get? Red over splash?

What colors pop up when breeding a red rooster over a splash colored hen? Not sure I'm going to but was wondering. Anyone done this or have pictures?

Well supposedly breeding a red to a barred will result in barred that are hiding the red coloring, which will show in the next generation if you breed those to a red bird or to a red carrying bird

Not in the first generation I think. They would carry it, but not show it unless they were bred further

That's splash all over, not splash-laced-something, right?

I think all the chicks should be blue, but they may have some red leaking through as they mature. Leakage is more likely to be in the wings of males and breasts of females.
