Would I have a sex link if I mated a barred rock with a Rhode Island/White Leghorn mixed hen?

No you wouldn't. you would get mostly barred young.

Sexlinks using a Barred Rock require the female to be the barred bird.

Crossing a BR roo to another breed or mixed breed hen will not give sexlink offspring.
