What do YOU know about hatching ducklings and chicks

I think it would be neat if people could post what they know about hatching chicks or hatching ducklings. The basics..for those of us (ME) that are new to this.

would be convenient, but, not to be rude the search function is easier and faster than getting someone to type it all over again... Look in the learning center section of the site, it is very informative..
