What do you think is up with this odd light spot on this eggshell?

A nice speckled egg, but there's a spot the size of a nickel that's just... lighter. Anything I should be worried about, you think?

Interesting, but I don't think it should be concerning. Just an uneven application of pigment.

I agree. Sometimes, the coloring just comes out unevenly. Pretty egg!

Thanks! I was packing up a dozen eggs for our neighbor and hesitated on putting this egg in. If there was something wrong with it I didn't want to gift it to her.
