What do you think my chances are????

I received 18 eggs on Saturday and set them on Sunday 4/25. When I bought them I wasn't aware of the laying date and when received, found out that half of them were layed from 4/17 through 4/19.

What do you think my hatch rate might be?

From what I understand, as long as the eggs were stored properly then they will be good for up to 10 days. It looks like you got them set within that time frame. Good luck!

I hope your right! Last I understood it was 7 days. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

I've always heard and seen 10 days, but I have hatched some that are even older. Happy Hatching!

I have some Lakenvelder eggs that should arrive today too. Wondering if I could place them right in the incubator with what I set yesterday, so the hatch will only be one day apart. Or do you all think I should wait the 24 hours for the eggs to settle?

There's no magic date or dividing line. It's just that after about 7 days the hatch rate might go down. The older the eggs, the lower the hatch rate.
