I recently got this pair of chickens off a lady. The guy she got them from said that they were rosecombs but i don't think the are any thoughts. Thanks a bunch...

Rosecombs would, as the name implies, have rose combs.

Your birds are single combed. Do you know how old they are? I would venture to say they are either White Faced Black Spanish or black Minorcas.

woohoo lol i'm so happy i was hoping that's what they are..

The lady that i got them off of didn't know much about them. She thought they were maybe a year old. The hen has been laying but they went into a molt about a week ago.
