What do you think this pullet is?

Hatched from a batch of eggs I purchased. I more or less already know what she is but want to see what others think. All white with blue/grey legs. Nails are white too.

I think that may be an American Bresse. They're known for their high quality meat. My buddy raises them as meat chickens and they're very expensive.

I could be wrong, though!

Okay so we are on the same page! The eggs I bought were listed as large fowl BYM that included bresse, black Jersey giant, brahma and Bielefelder. I'm thinking I got lucky and hatched a pure bresse but of course I can't say for certain.

Of the 3 that hatched, this one in particular had to be assisted as it never was able to pip. I'm fond of her as she is of course the underdog but also a very curious bird who isn't very timid. I had a meat bird project in mind when buying these eggs so I'm pretty happy with how it went. I'll be butchering the cockerel tomorrow (he's a jerk) and hopefully I'll be hatching eggs from this girl and her sister who is definitely not pure bresse. They are nearing 20 weeks and the combs and waddles of the 2 pullets are growing fast, hoping for eggs sooner rather than later as 1/19 pullets laying just isn't cutting it!

That's awesome. I don't see any mix in her so maybe you did get lucky!
