Hello, I am fairly good at keeping chickens, I know a fair amount about health issues etc. But, I have this one hen, she is a one and a half-year-old White Leghorn hen. Last year in June she turned a year old, not only that but she stopped laying eggs. She used to lay every day since she was two and a half months old, June 2018 when she turned a year old she full on stopped laying eggs. It was strange but I thought it was just stress, I knew it wasn't egg bound since she didn't have the symptoms. Since she stopped laying she goes in the nesting box every day to lay an egg but never does recently she stopped going into the nesting boxes. I did some looking around but found nothing. I asked around in the chicken amino and birds amino community and many said that is could just be a natural cause. All my flock has a good healthy diet and they always have grit and calcium. What do you think is going on?
