Looks like a blue ribbon winner to me, but this is my first year in 4-H so I don't know how roo's are judged.

A few days ago some one posted on here that you can go to the library and get a book about what judges look for in show chickens. Sorry I don't recall who it is or what the book is called. Nice Roo, what kind is he?

Judges will judge based on the APA Standard of Perfection. I have never shown, but if you do 4H they will put some of the points on showmanship instead of just the bird. Open class is hard to compete with unless you have show quality lines from private breeders.
