What do you use for flooring?

We found laminate flooring in a remnants store, and when they priced it out it would have been $60. We just said no thanks, and before we could get out of the store he asked his boss to come up with a price. He went down to $40, and when I said it was still too much for chickens he asked what I'd pay. I said $20 and we got it for that. This is awesome thick industrial stuff, although a bit ugly.

So if those remnants are priced higher than you like, ask if they can come down, especially with today's economy. It's worth asking anyway

here's what I am doing...

my coop is 4 x 6. It has plywood painted with a epoxy enforced Porch paint. I really like this stuff. anyway....
I have taken 2 pieces of plywood 4 x 3 and will cover them with sheet vinyl. then I can put them in the coop side by side and remove them easily when I need to clean them. If anything does get between the boards the bottom still have the good porch paint and should not be bad to clean.

Since I will be using the deep litter method. I hope this will work well.
