We don't have a pond. We have two geese though who are using a big plastic feed bowl for now. I thought about getting one of those black (oh what the heck are they called??) things like a pond and you put it into the ground and fill with water. They are used in landscaping a lot. My mind is shot. We did so much around the house today I can't even think.

The only problem with this is that it would get dirty and I am not sure how I would clean it.
So for all of you that don't have a pond what do you use for your geese?

I use three kiddie pools that I picked up at WalMart for less than $10 each. My geese love them. I dump them each evening after closing the geese in the barn for the night. I re-fill with fresh water for the morning. The minute I open the barn each morning they head for the pools and dive right in. This is my third year of using the pools...they last forever!

Yup, kiddie pools! But we build make-shift ramps for the ducks that use them, too, to protect their legs.

We use kiddie pools, but we're digging a pond and using pond liner (not the things you put in the ground, the black plastic stuff) and rocks to make it "natural" for our ducks.

I bought a kiddie pool that was a little more expensive than the $10 ones..
its just a bit bigger and deeper for them and it has little steps in it already too...
the geese reallly like that one...but they use all 3 pools..
