What does a tail wag mean?

I've noticed 50% of the time it means "I'm going to poop any second now" but not sure about the rest

Can mean, "I'm happy", "I feel good", "Watch out. I'm about to kick your butt."

Imminent dropping or excitment

Wait a minute. Those are all the same emotions in a chicken.

My birds do this when happy.

I agree that it can often mean "happy/excited." My geese wag their tails when I bring them treats.

Only had mine a few days, I'll have to try take notice of what happy things make them wag.
