What does this opening mouth motion (yawn? choke?) mean?

its not making any sounds while opening mouth this way. other than that it seems to move around and behave normaly.

also, since i actually dont really know my breeds which one is at the back (almost fully yellow with a patch of brown dot on top of head) , and the foreground (speckled)

i know the one opening its mouth is a tuxedo.
 
I believe it’s just when they’ve eaten a lot of dry food it gets caked up back there they just need water. I couldn’t see video either and I don’t have quail but my chickens so this randomly too but mostly noticed it after they’ve pigged out on feed sometimes they do this crazy dry hi-pitched honk cough too

The yellow chick is a Texas A&M (white) and the speckled brown one is a wildtype.
 
My chickens do this also after eating a lot. try and see if he only does it after eating if that is the case I would not worry too much. they may need some very small grit also, they could be eating some of their bedding and won't be able to grind it up with out grit.
