What drake to cull?

Currently, I have two drakes and one is aggressive towards the other drake. What drake should I keep to breed with the hens that I have? The one that is more dominant towards the other drake since he will be a better protector or the other drake because he seems nice from my novice perspective. I don’t have enough hens to keep both drakes.

It's hard to say because if you get rid of the more dominant drake who knows what kind of behavior change the more submissive Drake will make when he's the only male.
Does the more dominant drake have any issues? Is he rough on the girls or mating too often? Do you like him from a personality perspective?

Don't kill either of them. Choose the one to keep and post the other one for free on facebook marketplace or craigslist. Someone will always come get them.

In my experience, I wouldn't depend on an aggressive duck to be a protector of the flock.
