I had 6 eggs in the bator. I tossed two because they were clear. I was dumb and opened one early cuz I thought it was dead. One hatched. And the other two were fully formed but dead in the shell, when I poked a hole to look in they looked shrinkwrapped but neither had pipped. What happened?

Sounds like low humidity, dried out to where they couldn't break out of the membrane or shells.

Weird it should have been. Was it that high during the whole lockdown process? Did you leave the incubator shut as much as possible?

I opened it once to get the chick out and once to candle the late eggs, which was when I found out that they'd died.

I imagine they weren't shrinkwrapped, they just looked that way. Pronbably just fully formed but dead. Looking at them through the unburst membrane I imagine you could quite easily assume they were shrinkwrapped when they actually weren't...
