What gender are my chickens?

I have 2 chickens and I dont know the breeds well so I was wondering what gender they look like to you? They havent started laying or crowing yet

a) EE 6 months old

b) A Speckled Sussex 6 months old

The original owner said they were most likely pullets but im starting to have thoughts on 'a'

Are you sure that EE is 6 mos? I would think he'd have more tail development by now, but maybe he's a late bloomer. He's definitely a boy, though.

Shoot xD guess I will have to put an ad up for the little guy. Hoping that wouldnt be the case! Funny thing is that he didnt look like a roo when i first got him so i named him "Mrs. Jenkins" after my old hen when i was a child. Guess hes a "Mr Jenkins" lol xD

First is an Easter Egger rooster. Second is a Speckled Sussex pullet.

Neither of those chickens look 6 months old to me. I'd estimate them at 4-5 months.

Agreed--roo and hen, younger than stated. I'd say like 4 months.
