Hey guys,
Only recently got into the 'duck-scene', as my girlfriend bought me two khaki-campbells for my birthday. As you can tell from the pictures, I modified an old dog run into a pretty good duck pen. Anyway - I am basically looking to confirm the gender of each duck - I am pretty sure the one with the white feathers on his tail (Stan) is a male, whereas the other one (Wendy) is a female, at least, that is what I have been told.

Any confirmation would be great!

Wendy is on the left, Stan on the right.

If I need to get more photos, please let me know :)

Also, it is worth noting that Wendy seems 'bolder' - she comes and eats out of my hand and bites my fingers, whereas Stan stays at the back.

Nice Khakis,, they are a wonderful breed and stupendous layers.
Ducks have some fairly easy tell-tale signs between males and females even if they may look exactly alike in feathering. Which will change in the males in Khakis BTW,, come fall they will look more like dull Mallards, then back to the brown in spring again.
One thing to look for is a curling of the tail feathers,, males will have a little curl of feathers on top where the tale feathers meet the last of the back feathers, while the females will not. Another thing to look at is the bill,, male bills will generaly turn yelllow or yellowish while the females stay brown. Finally the most telling is their quack. Females will have a decidedly solid QUACK, while the males are more "breathy" sounding. Don;t put any stock in the white feather myth,, I've had both males and females turn up with them.
Honestly,, from what I see in that single pic,, you have two females there. But I am not always right and judging from pics can sometimes be misleading.

Yeah the easiest way to tell is the quack. Females are loud, males kinda of whisper.

Thank you all for the help - I went and recorded Stan quacking - guess 'he' is a female after all :/
