What gender are these chickens?

The brown ones are welsummer a and I believe they are both cockerels but not sure. Thanks for your help.

Buff looks like a pullet. The one sitting next to her is a cockerel. The barred rocks look to be pullet. The red/brown chicken between the barred rock and the cockerel looks to be a pullet. How old are they?

They are five weeks old. I thought that both of them were cockerels. Just the one next to the buff is cockerel? That just made my day lol

I hope so! It's not an exact science! Love the dark eggs!

Agree on there only being one cockerel. Welsummers are easy to sex as they feather out, as the males are a different color than the females. Your little guy is getting black on the chest, where the pullet's chest will stay salmon colored.

Oh that makes me feel so much better. I have fifteen so I'm not worried about that. Im worried about having to give it away because we can't have two cockerels. (Weight lifted off shoulders) whew
